1. What this service is

DNA1.com provides an AI-based kinship indication generated from facial photographs. It estimates a plausible biological relationship between a child and one or two alleged parents. The site is operated in partnership with Genomics for Life.

2. Not a legal DNA test

This is not a DNA test and is not a legally recognised or court-admissible determination of parentage. It is an indication only. For a legally recognised result, we recommend Genomics for Life's accredited DNA testing.

3. Consent and eligibility

By submitting photographs you confirm that you are authorised to provide them and that you have the informed consent of every individual shown — including a parent or guardian's consent for any minor — for those images to be analysed for this single order.

4. Your photos and data

• Your photographs are used only to fulfil your single order.
• They are never used to train or improve any AI model.
• All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with strict access controls.

5. Retention and deletion

Your report and photos are retained only as long as needed to deliver and support your order, and no longer than three months, after which they are deleted. You may opt out and request immediate deletion at any time.

6. Delivery

Your result is delivered by email to the address you provide, normally within 10 business days. If a photo needs replacing, we will email you to amend your order.

7. Tokens and payment

Payment is made to Genomics for Life, who issue you a single-use token to begin your order on DNA1.com. Refunds and cancellations are handled by Genomics for Life.

8. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). For privacy questions or to request deletion, contact Genomics for Life.

9. Accuracy and liability

The result is an AI-generated estimate and its accuracy is not guaranteed. It must not be relied upon as proof of parentage or for any legal, medical, or financial decision.
