Children inherit facial structure from both parents. The way features sit and combine — the shape and spacing of the eyes, the bridge of the nose, the jaw, overall proportions — carries a visible, measurable signature of family.
Our AI was trained specifically to recognise family resemblance, not just whether two photos show the same person. Because a child is a blend of two people, comparing against both parents reveals both halves of that blend — which is why our test requires photos of both parents, and why using several photos per person makes the result more reliable.
